How We Work

My approach revolves around a simple idea: Improving the client’s condition. Working collaboratively, involving the client personnel and resources, with a focus on the transfer of skills to the client.

Engagements are usually completed within one to six months. I work to specific objectives, with specific measures, providing value to the client and their goals. Here is what you can expect when working with me:

A focus on results

  • I don’t produce reports, I help you deliver dramatic results. I are not obsessed with a particular methodology or approach, I tailor each project to specifically meet your needs and situation.
  • At the start of each project we’ll agree a clear set of objectives and measures and our project is only completed when we both agree that they have been achieved.
  • All our assignments are fixed-fee so you never have to worry that a clock is running. Typically clients I work with achieve a return of ten times or more on their investment.

An independent view

  • I’ll make sure that I identify and address the key issues, and create a robust fact-base as our starting point.
  • The focus is to develop great solutions for you, and this means giving you our independent views even if they are not immediately popular.
  • I welcome candid dialogues that jointly enable us to address the real issues and create actionable solutions.

Collaborative relationships

  • I only work with clients when I both feel that I can work together as partners. I fully share knowledge and techniques with you and your teams so that your business is better able to address future issues.
  • I work in an involving way so that I can maximise the impact, ideas and knowledge of you and your team.
  • Encouraging involvement in the process also develops ownership of the solution, significantly increasing the likelihood of successful implementation.

Speed and responsiveness

  • I work hard to get to the heart of the matter as quickly as possible and focus on the few key issues that will make the biggest difference.
  • I make sure that I keep in touch efficiently and effectively and return all calls within 90 minutes and emails on the same working day.
